CinemaBox HD with Chromecast: How to play movies:
There are plenty of ways to go about streaming your content to the big screen using CinemaBox HD. Let me discuss some of the easiest ways.
- Direct streaming
This is by far the easiest way to stream your movies. But the only necessity it has is that you must have a good internet connection, to avoid interruptions due to buffering. Here’s how to go about it.
#1 Choose a movie or TV show you would want to watch from CinemaBox’s library. Tap to open it.
#2 Go to the “Videos” tab. Choose a resolution you prefer and tap to run it.
#3 Click “Play” and let the movie load.
#4 Tap the cast button on the top right corner. Choose the Chromecast option.
That is all it takes. If your TV is on and has the Chromecast device plugged in, starting the cast should be no problem at all.
- Indirect streaming
This is mostly preferred by people who don’t have the best internet connection. Here’s how you go about it.
#1 Choose the movie you want to watch on CinemaBox HD, pick a resolution and then download it. This can be done when your device is idle, or when you have good internet speed.
#2 When you want to watch it, turn on your TV and plug in the Chromecast device to the USB port.
#3 Install a Chromecast enabled Video Player. We suggest MX Player, since it is easy to seek and control the video and the playback compared to any other app.
#4 Play the content on the video player app, and click the “Cast” option. This option’s location can vary with different apps.
#5 Select Chromecast. It should take you no time to enjoy the content directly on your PC. Pretty cool, no?
Alternatives to having a separate video player could be apps which cast your screen whatever you may be doing. AllCast is a great app for that purpose.
It is easy to cast your dearest entertainment to the big screen. CinemaBox app enables you to access prime content along with latest TV shows and movies directly on your Android device, and also share it across devices irrespective of their build or traditional functionality. Have fun!
